So Veronica Anstey requested a Game of Thrones catch up like the one I wrote for Teen Wolf. Ye Gods.. (also not in order).. .. .. .. .. > Ned Stark is dead, beheaded for confronting Cersei and Joffery (very publicly) about her affair with her twin Jaime and for the fact that King Roberts children are bastards. Joffery doubly so. > Joffery is a mad bastard (literally). He kills whores, orders the death of Robertss MANY bastard children (except Gendry) including babies. > Daenerys Targaryens husband and child are dead. But she has three dragons and whats left of her Khalasar (her people). She visits Qarth and gains a ship, Astapor and gains a deadly army of Unsullied and Yunkai, where she becomes the Mother to a city of slaves. > Robb Stark becomes King of the North. It looks like hes doing well (he kidnaps Jaime Lannister, but Catelyn Stark frees him and sends him south with Brienne in the hopes shell get daughters Arya and Sansa freed from Kings Landing). Various deals with dodgy allies lead to the Starks murder and their armies destruction at The Twins. Never trust a Frey. Or Roose Bolton for that matter. > Sansa is stuck in Kings Landing but no-longer betrothed to Joffery. But she IS forced to marry Tyrion. > Arya was on her way north to Winterfell, disguised as a boy and with King Roberts last bastard Gendry. The Nights Watch recruitment officer tries his best but they get attaked by Lannister soldiers and they get taken to Harrenhal. > The younger brothers of Robert, Stannis and Renly are also after the Iron Throne. Stannis is in league with the Lord of Light and his priestess Melisandre. She gives birth to a creepy smoke baby who kills Renly. One King down.. > Stannis tries to attack Kings Landing by sea. Tyrion orders the use of Wildfire to destroy most of Stannis fleet. Stannis survives and attacks the gate to the city, and almost manages to do it, except Jofferys grandfather Tywin arrives and saves the day. > At the wall the Nights Watch head north to search for a missing Ranger party. They encounter wildlings, baby sacrifice to the White Walkers, an army of ice zombies heading south, an army of wildlings heading south AND a way to kill White Walkers. > Jon Snow (Ned Starks bastard son) betrays the Nights Watch to infiltrate the wildling army, falls in love/lust with wildling Ygritte, climbs the Wall, betrays the wildlings and arrives at Nights Watch HQ Castle Black filled with Ygrittes arrows. > Gendry and Arya end up with the Brotherhood Without Banners- followers of the Lord of Light and hunters of Lannister soldiers. Arya runs away from them, ends up witnessing the final moments of Robb Starks destruction and stuck with a man she hates. > Gendry ends up on Dragonstone with Stannis and Melisandre, who use his blood to place curses on various enemies. > Theon Greyjoy betrays Robb Stark when he goes home to try an arrange an alliance between his people and the Starks. He takes a crew and takes Winterfell (home of the Starks) by force. Bran, Rickon, Hodor and wildling Osha escape. Theon is in turn betrayed by his own men and knocked out. Winterfell is burned to the ground (NOT Theons doing) and Theon is captured and tortured by Roose Boltons bastard son Ramsay. > Bran and company are joined by the children of Stark Bannerman Howland Reed. Meera and Jojen are there to take Bran north of the Wall where Jojen (who has visions) sees Brans destiny lying. Oh Bran can also take over his Direwolfs body (any body really) and has the same powers as Jojen. In fact ALL of the Stark children might have this potential to a greater or lesser degree. If theres anything Ive missed sound off below. My brain hurts. #GameofThrones
