So Vodafone issued a statement today to say they have a nationwide outage. Question on my mind is this; How will customers who have time bound packages (those valid for specific periods of 30 days like the broadband service) be compensated? Dont forget that outage of service especially broadband service happens very often. Whilst we ponder that, why does DSTv also get away with their service dropping each time two drops of rain fall from the sky and customers also never get any compensation. Isnt this thievery thats only allowed because as a people we have no real consumer standards that are enforceable? We are being ripped off left right and center, by politicians, civil servants, charlatans parading as men of God and the multinationals have joined in.
