So. WTF is going on with the flag? We are told the flag held by the hostages is the Shahada - a religious message quoted on a number of Islamic flags, including those of extremist groups and even the flag of Saudi Arabia. Look closely tho. The script on the flag held by the hostages is not the same. Is it still the Shahada? I dunno. But it is definately NOT the same script of the Shahada that we are shown as comparsion. ---- Official media line thus far is that they are Syrian Al Nursa Front. They arent ISIS, but rather Anti-Assad Al-cia-duh afflilates ... but they not the rebels either. Ok. However, though some members of Al Nusra have defected to ISIS, Al Nusra itself appears to have resisted joining with ISIS on a number of occasions, preferring to maintain its alliance with Al-cia-duh instead. Al Nusras focus is Syria and theyve never issued a global directive or call for attacks on western targets.
