So Waterford and Tramore has lost these Pubs and Hotels in past few Years and Months just to name a few and the Government keeps increasing taxes and council does not ease rates pressures and the VAT man only loves closing venues with peoples livelyhoods at stake . Dublin can serve away until 5am , and get that extra Income in that Waterford cannot under the same licence its a disgrace whats happening to this City and there is only more to come . People cannot afford to go out anymore in Ireland and Tourists are ripped off with the drink prices . The Likes of Tesco and other Big Shopping Centres are killing the Pub trade as people come out Later and Later .. The Late licence is about €500 per night just for an extra 2 hours sure in Waterford you have no hope . What hope have we in Waterford at all and what hope have our kids got growing up here as every single week something closes in Waterford .
