So... We completed the family viewing of Leones epic Dollar or Man with No Name trilogy, watching earlier tonight The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. We considered briefly going to the cinema - where a bunch of Hollywood garbage is on offer. Dont get me wrong - I dont mind occasionally indulging in Hollywood shlock. But just watching Leones masterpiece this evening and considering a comparison to this other stuff... Im sure all - or at least most - of you have seen these great movies. Ill bet, though, that its been quite some time since then. So, heres a friendly suggestion: source these movies from wherever, plug your TV or media player into the HiFi (Morricones music is not meant for TV built-in speakers) and dive into the Spaghetti Western trilogy.
