So.... We stayed in the very south of Koh Lanta for a few days and hired a scooter to check the place out, the morning we left we went for another little boost around came back got packed and ready to catch the mini van to Krabi town, we get picked up at about 11 30 make about 10 stops to pick up other travelers and were on our way, we catch one car ferry.. Drive for another 10 minutes then catch another, about 1 hour hour after the second ferry I realize I didnt collect my passport after returning the scooter back on Koh Lanta.. My heart sank a bit.. I made the driver pull over and call his boss with a bit of communication issues I explain to him my situation. Were in the middle of nowhere now so I decide to keep traveling another hour to Krabi town. When we arrived I got the tour manager to call the bungalow place and see if he could drop it off with the next minivan. He said he could bring it at 10 30 the next morning. So we get a room two doors down and I pop in the next morning to no avail, I call my bungalow man from Koh Lanta and hes said he will come and drop it off at 12.. Soo I wait another couple of hours.. By 12 30 still no sign of him so I call him back and he said he will be another hour. An hour and a half goes by and Im getting a bit more nervous.. I take a cigarette from my shirt pocket.. Pull out my lighter.. Turn away from the breeze to light it then look back up and there he is holding my passport! I lept up and gave him a big hug! The man kept his word! I offered him some money for his troubles getting it to me but he wouldnt accept.. Thai people are soo nice! LESSON LEARNT! HAHA!
