So Wednesday, during physical therapy, Brynns therapist gave us a pair of Hip Helpers. They are lyrca shorts that are about knee length and have a hem towards the bottom, between the knees. As suggested by the name, this helps to keep Brynns hips in a more normal range of motion compared to her comfortability of her legs all over the place. We put the shorts on today and boy, let me tell you. After about 15 minutes, she was OVER IT! Im not going to lie, some days its hard. Its hard to have to teach your kid how to do something over and over and over again when most babies just pick it up on their own. Its also hard to be so repetitive without seeing results as quick as youd like. BUT! When you do see progress with things you have been working on, its one of the most rewarding feelings ever. I feel so lucky that Cody and I are on the same page with me staying home and working on these things with Brynn on a daily basis. I couldnt imagine just dropping her off at daycare where she may not have the proper care or resources to continue to progress. Anyway, I just wanted to share this cute little frumpy face. :) She sure is starting to get an opinion all of her own. I call it Sassypants ;) Also, got Brynns new big girl car seat today. How crazy is that!? It really has gone by way too fast! :/
