So a Mayo update for those following...my update has been delayed because following a million tests, my eyes were dilated for 2 days & I couldnt see a thing! For anyone that knows the annoyance of having them dilated for a routine eye exam, this 2 day spell tops it all. Finally today I can see fairly decent if lights arent on. At least this morning I dont look like Im on acid haha. The antibiotic I was put on for a kidney infection proved to not be sensitive to the culture results & after avoiding a near admission to the hospital, they are trying me on a different oral one so hopefully this does the trick. I also saw the pulmonary department this trip r/t my sarcoidosis & my CT scan showed perfuse pneumonitis thru both lungs...the doc I saw is questioning if this isnt a fungal infection that may have resulted from a hypersensitivity exposure to something. So hes waiting for my biopsies & CT from earlier this year to be sent so he can compare & see if this was present at that time or not. Kinda an interesting development... so thats it! I get a break now till January when hopefully we will hear some answers finally... thank you for all the thoughts & prayers thru this all. I dont know if yall realize how much your support means to me!
