So a UKIP MEP defects to the Tories ... Apart from reinforcing what we have been long saying, namely that UKIP are Tory at heart, its his comments about the party he left that stand out. After almost three years as a party member, I realise that Ukip is more concerned with furthering its own interests as a political party than delivering for the British people. I’ve seen Ukip both at home and abroad, and I’m sorry to say they’re pretty amateur. In the European parliament, some of their MEPs think it’s acceptable to shout and fool around. Or how about these little gems..... Ukip has become a “party of ruthless self-interest”, was “pretty amateur” and had a “ridiculous” lack of policies. Again...no shit Sherlock! Well folks if you really want to waste your vote on this shambolic and blatantly self serving rag tag gaggle of far rght loons, political lightweights and Tory party rejects, you carry on, (its your democratic right after all..) but dont expect the rest of us to take your party seriously... SMAK
