So...a big day arrives tomorrow for the proposed village hall. (Although not quite as big as the day had by many when dropping their 4 years olds off at Cressing Primary for the first time recently, but close for us :-)) Tomorrow our first Big Lottery application will be submitted. This is a three stage process, the first application is significant and these funds would be used to; develop detailed plans suitable for the planning application, the planning application itself, Legal, architects and planning fees, further investigations into hall use and the best way to benefit the village and any further works required. Competition is fierce, there are many worth causes seeking funding, and recently the application process was opened up to more people which in turn means that it has just become even more competitive. We will keep our everything crossed…..exciting and very nervous times!
