So a bit of a serious and funny story today. I was picking Jayden up from school today when one of his friends, a luttle black girl, walked up to me and asked if I was Jaydens uncle. So I said yes. Then she went on to ask with a confused face " why are you so white and hes so black". It was pretty funny but I answered, " Well thats how we were born. Some families are different. Some families are black, some are white, and some have different colors or mixed colors. While some other families have moms and dads and some have auntie and uncles." She then said "okay" and went back to playing. While it was funny, I think that subjects like this should be brought up in school to familiarize children with the different family dynamics whatever they may be.
