So a bunch of robbers ATTEMPTED to rob me today.. This happened in the residential area of USJ4 where a silver Toyota Camry knocked me from the back out of a sudden. I was thinking maybe the driver fell asleep or was drunk. So I quickly switched to another lane (against traffic but there was no car), then he went ahead of me. He seemed to be driving fine so I honked and flashed him to stop by somewhere because he didnt seem like he wanted to stop. So he turned into a residential area and stopped by the side of the road, facing SMK USJ4. Then, we came out from our cars (there were 2 men) to take a look at the damage caused. My car was fine, then he took a look at his car, then came back to mine. (An Indian guy came out of their car and started moving the car beside mine). Then I said its ok dont worry about it, but he didnt look like he felt bad or thankful that everything is okay. So I started feeling suspicious, and I said its alright again and tried to leave. They didnt let me leave and then started grabbing me, trying to pull me into their car. I fought back (of course), battled my way through, shouted for help, for a good 10-15 seconds with two of the guys. Then I think it was taking too long already and people might have heard or saw it, so they gave up and went off instead. Fortunately, I got back into my car safely with just a few cuts (fell down while fighting back), ended up half naked because my shirt was all torn (Hah!) and lost a watch in the process. I went to a friends house nearby after that and they offered help and warmth at the moment of shock. So heres the interesting part, I managed to fight back with two grown men (Im relatively skinny and I wouldnt consider myself anywhere close to being a strong man!) it was definitely Gods strength that was in me. Incidentally, I started my day by praying , committing my day to God and specifically asking Him for His protection and guardian over me, my family and friends (which I dont normally do). Plus, I felt tremendous peace throughout the whole thing going on. Another thing is that, they were all unarmed! (If they were really here to rob and kidnap me, they surely wouldve come prepared.) But I believe that it was God that did His thing and prevented them from being armed. God is truly so so good. I am really speechless. Oh! And amazingly, I was somehow composed and smart enough to capture a photo of their car when they first knocked me! Hah! In short, I got some cuts on my body, lost a watch, got my shirt torn, and gave my parents some fright, but most importantly I have once again experienced the GOODNESS and the PEACE of the Lord that covered me the whole time. I might be weak, but my God is strong. Really, if God is for us, who can be against us! Also, thank you Min Li and family who offered help, showed care and concern for me when it happened (she gave me a shirt when I was half naked too! Haha!). God is good! Thank you Jesus!
