So a couple of days ago I along with many others shared a story about a local law enforcement person being asked to leave a Panera Bread because he was carrying a firearm but he also had his badge on. This story has vanished off of FB as if it never existed. Now I firmly believe Panera is well within their right to set this policy, NO it does NOT violate the 2nd amendment nor does it violate A1S23 of the MO Constitution either nor do police officers have any *special rights* either. Unless they are in that Panera Bread on *official* business I believe Panera to be well within their right of PROPERTY OWNERSHIP to request the police officer to leave whether he be on duty or off duty doesnt make a difference. Unless you can explain to me how you or anyone else has a RIGHT to be served or in that establishment then property rights are to be adhered to.
