So a current events question for any of you that care to chime in... but please dont make it political! If the minimum wage is raised from the $7.25 mark to the $10.10 mark, what happens to employees that may have started at minimum wage but have now worked their way up to say $8.00, $8.50. $9.00 an hour.... ? Do they get a raise too? How will people feel if they suddenly find themselves back at the bottom of the pay scale? If they do get a relative raise, will people in those higher marks feel the same way? Will pay increases cascade up or face disgruntled mumbling from people who are already making more? Just curious.
