So a few months ago my smart phone had one key that wasnt working - TopicsExpress

So a few months ago my smart phone had one key that wasnt working anymore and half of the screens sensitivity was really low. So I wen into the AT&T store to see what it would cost to replace it (since I have phone insurance for it). The guy said it would be $200, to which I said psh, that is not even close to worth having normal screen sensitivity. and decided to keep it. The other day however my phone broke completely. So I figured maybe I can just get a new one (as much as shelling out $200 for it killed me, I need a phone). So we went in and they told me that A: My phone could have been replaced free under manufacturers warranty the first time I came in B: Because there was screen damage I did have to pay the insurance price instead of use the warranty C: I did not have insurance on my phone. Yeah that lats on confused me too. So we looked into it and when we got our phone we went a few days before we could port our old numbers and then when we did one of the workers accidentally added a third line instead of exchanging the numbers. Apparently when we got that fixed they didnt remember to tack the insurance back onto my account. So Lucas (a super awesome sales rep who sold us our phones) checked the billing and saw that he had sold us the insurance on both phones, and where the mistake was. He called into customer service who said that because the phone is already broken they couldnt do anything about it. He said well they thought they were paying it, and with automatic bill pay they dont see their bill at all. The only reason they found out they didnt have insurance was because her phone broke, and they need it. and she said that they simply couldnt give me the policy. I am kind of mad, and phone-less.
