So a few stereotypes of French people are correct: 1. They like to smoke--a lot. Id say 1/2 the women Ive seen smoke. Saw a few roll their own cigs. 2. They sit outside cafés and eat and drink and smoke...not a bad thing entirely . 3. They do walk around on the streets with baguettes in hand-- half of it sticking out in the open 4. They are pretty stylish 5. Paris is pretty amazing 6. Food is pretty darn good so far and Im not talking fine dining What has not proven true: 1. They are not especially rude. So far everyone has accommodated my attempts at Frenglish with only a slight grimace. Most ppl speak English.
