So a few years ago after i cleared form four, i went to Nairobi university to apply for an LLB degree, which i got and was all exited about, but my sponsor the orthodox church in Finland sent me an email 8 days to the reporting date and told me they couldnt pay my fees. This was as a result of corruption in kenyan side of the scholarships programme. I felt my world crumble and i had no clue where to start. 12 years down the line, from frustrations, to despair, casual labour , being used at some point with no pay in the name of training to top management levels i have a reason to thank God. Everybody you see shining out there has a story, everybody has a past, its what we do in our current status that determines where we will be tomorrow. You may be jobless today with no housing and no hope for a tomorrow.. But that is today. You can be washing clothes in the estates today but there is nothing to stop you from being an estate manager tommorow. You could be a house help today but there is no tag on your face to keep you there forever, tomorrow you will be an employer. You could be walking today but there is nothing to hinder you from driving tomorrow. You could be crying now but you will surely be smiling tommorow. My favorite book the bible tells that crying may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning and when i look through the spiritual eye i can see a light shinning at the end of that dark tunnel in your life. You have to persist, work hard at everything and anything you are doing today. You have greatness within you.
