So, a friend and I were wondering, what happens when, in a faceoff, both players have no unflipped cards left in their deck and both players power totals are equal (and no player has any cards that he can play to change the outcome). So far, I havent found a solution to this misery in the rules. The game rules state that if the power totals are equal, you flip and compare again. Since both players have no unflipped cards left, both dont flip a card instead. So you keep comparing and comparing unchanged power totals. Unfortunately the rules regarding an infinite loop as such assume that at least one player controls an effect that leads to this loop (the player who controls the first mandatory effect in the loop...) and resolve the loop by saying that effect does not trigger. So what happens in our case, where there is no triggered effect involved? Who wins the faceoff? Thanks ahead for any solutions or corrections.
