So a friend of mine said she was in Jefferson at a friends house (waiting in the driveway for her friend to get home from work)when a man with a badge and tablet approached her and asked if she lived at the residence...she replied no - and the man proceeded to the door to knock. No one answered of course so he left. A little while later 2 police officers showed up looking for a man and a woman - they told my friend that there are people going around proclaiming to be with Potomac Edison - but their not. (I dont know any more details - other then my friend thinks the cops did find the couple they were looking for.) - everyone just please be aware of who you let in your home, what information you tell them (regarding your schedule, family members, etc...) and do not give them any personal information!!! (I know this is obvious, but just remind any young/elderly neighbors and keep and extra eye out for any unusual activity in your neighborhoods.) [If anyone does come across anything suspicious - contact the police immediately]
