So a funny thing happened after church....the sermon came alive! We talked about making sure whoever walks in the door, everything is done to make them feel at home. A young man walked in the fellowship hall after church who knew no one there. When I approached him he said in a heavily accented English that he needed someone to talk to. Turns out his first language is Afrikaans. Did I mention our minister to youth is from South Africa? Stopped her just as she was pulling out. What a wonderful privilege to sit in as she ministered in her native tongue to a stranger among us in need!
