So a series of events led to me pulling out a calculator, one routine takes an average of 6 hours in music searching, 3 hours of planning and brainstorming, 16 hours of choreography, sets, and synchronization, 4.5 hours to teach it, 5 hours of practice time, and 3 hours to perfect it. 1 routine equals 37.5 hours for one 37.5 hours of dance. I do 16 competitive dances so that makes 600 hours (not including extra practices and performances) then I have 17 additional classes that do 3 routines a year so thats 637.5 hours xs 3 so 1,912.5 hours per year plus recitals and props that need to be made and not to mention picking out costumes. So thats a minimum of 2,512.5 hours a year in routines. Add competitions, camps, props, recitals, costumes, travel, volunteer, office work and city performance we are averaging 2,478.192 hours equals 207.94 days a year. Thats 95.972 hours a week. Im not trying to brag but can you say beast mode!?
