So, about 2 hours into my last flight I started getting sick, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes... Then when I finally land I see they are taking temps and figured theyd see I was getting sick and not let me in the country. Well praise God I dont have a fever. I spent my first night at a hotel, expecting that Id sleep like a log for the 6 hours I had before morning. After all, Ive been up for 34 hours straight. No such luck. This is my third time awake in 4 hours. I always forget what its like at the airport. Its always late in the evening when I arrive, long lines and Im exhausted. Every time a maneuver through their airport I want to cry. Last night was no exception. But I got through it. We normally bring every kind of over the counter med with us but never use any of it so this time I basically have band aids and Tylenol. Oh, and if you find in your hotel room there is only one Kleenex left remember they are really called facial tissue when you are asking for more. This morning I will take what will be my only shower while Im here, definitely my only hot one. Ill eat breakfast at the hotel before Pastor Charles picks me up this morning. Today is mostly a day of checking in with my friends and taking two kids shopping for new clothes and shoes. Tomorrow we will begin heading to Kajiado where I will begin by helping to roof the building where we will begin the feeding program (among other things). Pray that I get better quick!
