So, about the pig show. There was a pig at our FFA barn that came down with something we though could be yeast. We thought it could be something worse but was hoping for yeast at that point. Our fears were confirmed as other pigs in the barn showed signed of red bumps on their bellies and in the creases of the front and back legs. Bout half the pigs in the barn has swine pox. We had to shut barn down and quarantine it. No show for any of us. Only SS kids showing today are people that jeep their pigs at their house and havent been in any if our barns. Even the pigs that havent shown symptoms are quarantined. Although its a tough situation it is morally the right decision. There is an owasso show in two weeks and all should be fine to show then!!!
