So according to Gloria Allred, a prominent civil rights lawyer: I often say if youre not a feminist youre a bigot, I mean there is nothing in between... I know I said Id try to be less condescending to people I disagree with, but the gloves are coming off on this post. For a moment, lets just revel in what an idiotic statement this is...This woman apparently doesnt even know what the term bigot means. According to Dictionary, a bigot is a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary a bigot is a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. This woman literally claimed that anyone that doesnt describe themselves as a feminist, is a bigot, apparently unaware that, by the terms definition, such a statement proves that she is a bigot. This woman is so full of her own (you know what) that its coming out of her mouth. (P.S Im criticizing Allred as an individual, I obviously know she doesnt represent all feminists).
