So after I got off work, I got 2 cheeseburgers and picked up Jim. We went to the house and as soon as we pulled in the driveway, we heard her whining and howling so I thought she was in the trap so we got out of the car and started walking towards her then we saw her run away to the left side of their yard back to the woods so she was pawing at the cage trying to get the food out (she already partially pulled her toy out earlier in the evening) so we took the cheeseburgers and sat on the ground next to the cage and started quietly calling for her telling her we wanted to take her home, and booger wants to see her, and we have treats etc. so we did that for a few minutes then we saw her head pop out of the woods. She was still a good distance away from us at that point so we kept calling her and trying to get her to recognize our voices and she started slowly coming towards us so we kept making noise with the burger wrappers and laying low then when she was about a third of the way to us, it hit her who we were and she bolted towards us, tackling us both with hugs and kisses 😊 so we cuddled for a few minutes, fed her the two cheeseburgers and got right in the car and drove 30 seconds home! It was one of the absolute sweetest moments of my life!!!!
