So after a relatively easy day and not too bitterly cold I decided to go on to bed. As I turned to climb the stairs, I thought I heard a quiet mew. With 2 large styrofoam still needing conversion to feral cat shelters my curiosity and guilt led me to crack the front door enough to see a new feral dive off our wee stoop. Back into the kitchen I went, knowing my electric blanket would taunt me all night if I did not answer the needys plea. The closer I got to finishing this drum-tight, foam rubber insulated, shag carpet complete with padding haven, the more I smiled imagining the relief this little one would find should he return. For good measure I threw in a little dry dog food and catnip. Now lying here in my pre-warmed, sleep number bed my day is Done. Sleep well, you Alberta hobos. More shelters for you tomorrow. +
