So after a ride Saturday evening at SF marina.... I was changing my shoes and sitting on the rear bumper admiring the golden gate bridge and the clear sky....I saw a fireball light up over the bridge and heading tward my direction... it then dimmed after about 8 seconds...3 seconds later as I stared it lite up again...bigger, brighter and about 10 seconds...I grabbed my phone and captured the last few seconds. Both visible times you could see billowing smoke behind it as it lite up the bay then crashed into maybe the marin headlands and what looked like a small brush fire. Sorry the video does no justice to the magnitude as you cant really see the smoke trail...I will try to clean up the footage because after all a meteor flying over the golden bridge is a nice shot!!!! ....later coops and drove over the bridge to hunt around but nothing. .. and would you believe a security guard, 2 joggers, and 2 groups of tourists all at the same place saw nothing!!?? After going onlie I learned its meteor season and a few in the bay area have been sighted recently. ...cool shit!! meteor over golden gate bridge November 1, 2014: youtu.be/s5ZtanZIza8
