So after a too long hiatus from the gym due to my traveling schedule I have began steady training again. Its an adjustment and I am feeling the time away. I have to begin eating cleaner and push myself when Im just not feeling it. - In true preacher fashion, I have to tell you the same can happen to us spiritually. We get distracted, busy and focus ourselves elsewhere and before we realize it...we are weaker. The things we use to press over heads now weigh heavy on our shoulders. We feed ourselves with the wrong things and over time our flesh craves the poison over the spiritual nutrients..so we feed it more. We grow spiritually lethargic and the distance we have lost can seem so discouraging. What is the solution? The answer is the same as the natural answer...you just get up and begin pushing again. You press when you dont feel like pressing. When you feel uncomfortable, you push harder. Feed yourself the right things and maintain discipline. Ignore those that would doubt you and say you cant. Encourage yourself in The Lord as Jesus is always in your corner. Stay the course and God will place those in your life that are struggling with pushing the weight and you will find you have the strength to spot them. Dont give up or give in my friends...keep pushing!
