So after almost a year of inactivity I think it‘s time to finally put the nail into Foliage “Monthly”‘s coffin. I know Tony was really trying to get things to work out, but I‘m gonna go ahead and be the one to throw in the towel. It‘s kind of tragic story, seeing that we had so much momentum starting last spring and leading into the summer, but there were a few factors that we couldn‘t really control. The main one being that the DeKalb scene kinda fizzled out for a little bit there, and by the time it was back Tony and I had already left DeKalb. We thought making this work in suburbs would be just as easy, but distance and time became our greatest enemies. We also hit a lot of unfortunate times throughout 2013, and working on a zine was really the last thing we wanted to do. So with that being said, thanks to everyone who ever picked up a copy of Foliage and read the entire thing. Without you, we wouldn‘t have even made it past issue one, and you‘re support will continue to fuel whatever else we do in the future. Thanks to our monthly contributors, Connor McNerney, Henry Brawlins, Alex Beach, and our young apprentice, Justin Klecka. Without you, it would have just been Tony and I talking shit. A big thanks to Jolly Baba for giving us an area to place the new copies every month. Anyways, here‘s issue four, with our dearest friend Dave Anians on the cover. I hate myself for never having any tangible copies made, but I wanted to make sure it was somewhere before it was completely irrelevant. Thanks again, and I love ya. https://mediafire/#21as171lk11ux
