So, after an afternoon of shopping and two and a half days of cutting. sewing and ironing. I took the window treatments and closet curtain up to Jill Maries kindergarten classroom today in preparation for her open house tomorrow. Brian was a trooper, hanging them this evening, and now Jills ready to welcome her students. I met one of the little boys outside as a number of parents and kids were gathered to look at the published class rosters on the front door, which were posted today. When this little boy said he had Mrs. Jones, I asked him if he wanted to meet her. He said yes and began to follow me to her classroom. But, before we got there, I turned around and said to him By the way, shes really ugly so dont scream when you see her. He stopped dead in his tracks and ran back to his father. I had to tell the little guy I was kidding and she wasnt scary at all. Kids these days have NO sense of humor.
