So after bible study last night I posed a question to my children that made for some amazing revelations and the brilliance of my kids. What part of the car should God be and what part should He not be and why? When I heard the part of the car they chose it made no sense to me and then I was like…WOW what brilliant answers, especially Ethan. Aaron - God should NOT be the steering wheel When you are driving you are controlling the car though the steering wheel. God gives you free will to make whatever choices you will make but He would never lead you down the wrong path. You choose which way you turn or if you go straight. Cambria - God should NOT be the Rear-View Mirror God does not want you looking back in the past. He is what lies ahead. All things that happened in the past doesnt matter to God because he forgives you. Leave the past in the past. Ethan - God SHOULD be the exhaust pipe. Think of the car exhaust and smoke like sin. If you didnt have an exhaust pipe your sins would just stay stuck inside and just keep building up with no where to go. Thats why God is the exhaust pipe because he forgives you and lets all the bad stuff get out of you and makes you clean.
