So after hours on the phone with several emergency vets last night (Thank you UC davis) and staying up taking care of this poor baby.. I am proud and so happy to announce he is sooo much better .. not 100% in the clear but he drank water ate food whent potty ( no blood) yaay .. I think I saved him .. life is amazing .. miracles happen ..we just have to help them happen .. for all those that dont know already I just started doing dog training at petco.. I need a break from my buisness because almost all the clients I have are agressive cases or leash pullers and with all my medical stuff happening I needed something a bit calmer for awhile .. so took the job as a dog trainer teaching puppy classes and akc good citizen classes at petco.. so far Im loving it..havent had to wear a wrist brace in over a week now :) have only had 1 stomach spasm attach when before it was every day .soo much better!! Anyways back to the story.. I was working yesterday only an hour into my shift when a customer came in asking for ferret supplies and asked if I could help him.. he said he found a ferret in his laundry room and he had a bunch of recon (rat poison) and wasnt sure if he ate some ... but didnt know what to do with him.. I asked him to bring him to me and cleared it with my manager.. he told me to run him home.. he was so sick. Had fleas.. and would eat or drink anything .. His eyes were watering and he only wanted to sleep.. I gave him a high calorie vitamin supplement for ferrets and kept trying to get him to eat and drink .. finally he did .. he is doing so much better and just loves us and hes such a loving little guy or girl dont know yet lol.. anyways heres some pics .. my kids are so good with animals they love and respect them and are so gentle with them.. Thank you all for your prayers .. its working :) FYI the cure for rat poison is vitamin k :)
