So, after lunch, Paighton & I went on another Adventure. When we got to the Troll Bridge, she decided that the 5 foot drain under the freeway was the Troll Cave, and before I could stop her was over the decorative fence and on her way into the creek bed. Of course, Grandpa was close behind, and she loved the echo in it. We only ventured about five or ten feet in, but she was fascinated with the odd bugs inside. That all turned into a mile long beach walk, and before I knew it, she had run me for about four miles. One of us at the very least is going to sleep like a rock. Whatever it takes to make this girl happy...especially if it involves learning about nature, or folk tales, or real life survival. She had lessons in all of them today. I am so proud of her.
