So after months and months of crazy symptoms from headaches, numbness in my legs and arms twitching in my face, crazy panic attacks and a laundry list of other ailments. Over the past few weeks I have steadily gotten sicker and developed more unusual symptoms to the point of feeling like I had some incurable disease and that I was dying (no j/k) according to the doctors, CAT scans, MRI and numerous doctors I was fine....... After a year and a half, heavy research and a recommendation from the only doctor that would tell the truth; I removed my Mirena IUD and OMG I woke up today and feel like my old self again, rested, energetic and without the crazy headaches and numbness. I dont usually post REALLY personal information but if this could help any women make a more informed decision I figured how could I keep this to myself. After serious research many doctors hate to admit there are real problems with the Mirena IUD, then they give u a hard time removing it, they try to convince you to keep it or prolong removing it. I had to go to the ER. Before you decide on this form of contraception read the blogs and stories from real women who suffered from this Devilish little piece of plastic. Everyone is different and Im sure some women love it. But I am so happy to free from the pain and suffering it was causing. And today Im just Thanking God for my health back. #feelingbrandnew
