So after reading Foxes Book Of Martyrs years ago, I often wondered what gave my Brothers and Sisters such faith to sing praises in the midst of persecution. I never thought I would be able to ever have faith like that. After years of studying, I still asked how, how can I become like what I see in Hebrews 11. Then I started really seeing how much God loved me, in spite of all my sin, and He even died for those sins to show me His love. It was their love for Him, that enabled them to not only live with such power but die as well. They BELIEVED every Word that He spoke. They BELIEVED He has something so much better and only through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT enabling them to walk the road before them could they over come, even the grave. They had to come to the point in their life where they no longer looked to self, but looked to Jesus, to supply all their needs, knowing He cared for them. When that love leaves the head and enters the heart, KABOOM!!!!!! Then the desire to be in constant fellowship with the one I love brings strength in the midst of what ever circumstance I may face, knowing He is with me and will guide me.
