So after sitting all night (7 hours past my sleeping time) the day before yesterday I finally managed to repair my phone ALL BY MYSELF (p.s with some major help from google baba) and WITHOUT LOSING ANY DATA FROM MY PHONE. I am so proud of myself right now. This is definitely going in my resume under Achievements. Thank you everyone for sending me various links which could help and for the sympathies. :P I was *this close* to directly restoring my phone and bidding goodbye to all my data but then I realized that the worst that could happen to a phone when you experiment with it is losing all data and I was going to lose it anyway so why not look for a jugaad. And some tricks and tips later and literally having to wait for 5 hours for a 2 gb download my phone was back. :D MORAL OF THE STORY: When you have nothing to lose you take insame amount of risks and perform to your maximum capabilities. (hah!)
