So, after waking up to NO WATER coming through the pipes (also, no communications as to what is going on - thanks Town of Clarkstown), I open my garage door to find that Im also a prisoner here because this is blocking my ingress and egress - again NO communications. While I am THRILLED that the town is finally paying some attention to the hamlet of Central Nyack, some form of communication as to what is going on with this project that has all the streets torn up and nearly impassable and when the water will be shut off and when your driveway will be inaccessible, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Oh, did I mention that there are 9 guys involved in digging a hole? One just sitting in the truck that is blocking my driveway, one in the backhoe, 1 or 2 in the hole, and 5 or 6 just standing at the rim of the hole? Efficiency at its highest level, Id say (read with tons of sarcasm, please.) Cmon, Clarkstown, ante up some information as to what is going on, what the benefits of said project will be when it is all finished, and an ESTIMATE of the timeframe, what streets/homes will be involved and APPROXIMATE timeline for each phase of the project. This has been going on for several weeks now. No communications makes one think that there is no plan . . . . and I dont believe that is the case. Just let us know, OK?????
