So, after work, the doctor and picking up my medication yesterday, - TopicsExpress

So, after work, the doctor and picking up my medication yesterday, I went into the city for a outdoor viewing of Ghostbusters 2. I had to meet my friend Jody Lynn Sumner in Caldwell...at 5:00. I pop the address in my GPS and on my way I go. [3:45pm] It tells me to take the Turnpike...even though I remember taking the Parkway I decide to listen to the GPS... it takes me to exit 13A...I get into Newark and my phone dies..... I have no idea where I am, so I find an Advanced Auto and I go in (in my Ghostbusters uniform) and ask to use their computer to get directions and write them out. Some guy calls me to his car and offers me to use his charger. Get my directions, on my way again.... Not even 5 min in, and a steet I need to turn left on is a no left turn. So I try to find a way to get on that street....but the traffic is awful and after the epic fail of finding a new route, I just break the law and turn anyway....on my way part 3. I finally get to my destination [5:30pm]and head into Jersey City to catch the PATH. Get into NYC [7:30ish]. Take loads of pictures with so many New Yorkers and such. Get Pizza. Watch movie [8:30pm]. Visit the Hook & Ladder 8 (Ghostbusters headquarters) head home [12:00am]. Get off PATH [1:15am] and get into the car and start to go back to Caldwell. We end up having to take a detour because the bridge we need to take is closed. We get lost-ish, manage to get to the Newark airport and find the way we need. We finally get back to Caldwell [2:15am] I help carry her equipment and use the potty. Im tired. Im hungry. And my phone is STILL dead. There is barely anyone on the roads. Then I get to mile marker 135 on Parkway South....there are only the 2 right lanes open the 3 left are being repaved. Some car accident had happened. I guy, drunk, hit one of the construction vehicles. He was decapitated. 2 fire trucks, 3 ambulances and a zillion cops. Helicopter air lift. I sat in park on the parkway for over an hour and a half. Got home finally at 4:30am. Wow huh....? What a night!
