So already at the last day of Global Community Games in Dundee...time has flown this week. The Coach traveled back home last night after a packed 48 hours of games, noise. laughter and some serious questions and stuff as well. Numbers in both morning and afternoon clubs held up well. Thursday saw the Space Academy cadets take a trip to a local park/zoo and despite the rain enjoyed themselves with the Brown Bears, Otters and Bats being the stars of the morning. Friday was graduation day with Lion masks, crafts and certificates as they became fully fledged astronauts all in front of an excellent family turnout at the church.....a great bunch of kids (all of whom will still be young enough to come back next year) and once again the Coach is sad to be saying goodbye for another year. Teen Games has kept the same core group and its been a great group to work with and share some time with. A new approach didnt bear fruit with large numbers but hopefully it can be made to work better next year. Once again The Coach will miss the banter and laughter and is alrady looking forward to next year!
