So, an aid worker goes to Africa to help prevent the spread of Ebola, then comes back to America and threatens legal action if forced to take measures to help prevent the spread of Ebola. Am I the only one who sees something wrong here? Im sure Im not, but theres much more to this than meets the eye. What I find most telling about this case is that she was quarantined in a state which has a Republican governor. Oddly enough, her lawyer is a prominent civil rights attorney and was at a White House fundraiser back in the beginning of the year rubbing elbows with Obama and his staff, and hes a known Democrat operative. She also works for the CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer, who has been opposed to most every precautionary measure that could be taken. Color me crazy, but her actions reek of politics and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if her attorney is working pro-bono under the direction of the White House. If theres one thing I dont believe in, its coincidence, and I find it hard to believe that someone who has traveled abroad and seen the effects of this virus first hand would be stupid and selfish enough to be so reckless if it werent for outside pressure. Granted, she did test negative for it and hasnt shown any symptoms, but is it really too much to ask to take it easy for a week or two and keep to yourself to ensure that youre free of the virus? What do you think about all of this? Sean Brown
