So an elderly man approached me last while i was at Hilarys - TopicsExpress

So an elderly man approached me last while i was at Hilarys playing my sounds, my guitar & abit of singing; NOT BUSKING, just jamming. He had been sitting not far from me with his wife enjoying the beautiful view as was I to while he shared a couple glasses of wine with his wife. He said thankyou for the great music sir, it wasnt too loud nor to quiet, & nothing offensive. Ive seen buskers & people who perform, But ive never seen anything like that in 35 years of living in Perth & constantly coming Hilarys boat harbour. You really connect with your audience, especially the children & teenagers. You give them something to properly look up to. But do you realise what youve done? Youve not only made my wife & Is night but a whole lot of parents, children, & other people as well. Ive watched em as they walk by either striking a smile or dancing or sit watch & listen in awe. you dont even put a hat or something out for a small donation from others, Ive never said this to anyone before but young man, you should really conisider furthering yourself with what you do. You could definately make it very far, perhaps even win something I kindly replied Sir, If i can make people happy by doing what i love most then im beyond happy myself. I dont take donations or anything coz i am not a busker, i believe great music is for the soul, & the soul is priceless. The music i cater to everyone are only songs with positive messages, we have to build our generation to be exactly that, POSITIVE. & if i can make a few younger generation or even parents to perhaps change there minds on life, then sir ive already won. That is my prize, The world is my stage, the people are my audience, & God is my judge & witness. Aspire to inspire. He then asked for my age, i told him i was 23 in March. He then said; For a man of such a young age you sure very mature & humble; Like an old soul I said to him; i had the best parents who raised me right, hardlife but well worth it. Family love & my faith in God have kept me going. & i wouldnt have started doing this if it wasnt for my culture. He said; Well i hope you keep going cause it is awe inspiring, I hope to see you down here more often young man shook my hand & made his way with his wife. Havent felt that much joy in my heart for a very long time, Its moments like those i truly live for, & after lastnight i think ill be doing it more often. -making my way up, slowly but definately. Thankyou kind sir & thankyou everyone for watching, listening, & requesting music here & there. #Jay_Are #on_the_rise #priceless_moments #music_is_my_saviour🎶🎸❤️
