So an old friend that I have known for 6 years had kidney failure and the doctors said he wouldn’t live past 21, he is 20 now and a few months ago we were just sitting on the couch talking about life and death and how we have perspectives on life that every else around us couldn’t comprehend. He said “We are all gonna die someday, I try not to think about it because it happens to everyone and I guess we just get a shorter life than our friends.“ and we just sat there and cried a bit and gave each other a hug. We had hope but there was always a little bit of our hearts that thought that we were close to the end. Well, last week he got a life saving kidney transplant and I have officially been in remission as of yesterday. Miracles are real, you just gotta believe in yourself and stay positive no matter what. Times of adversity can only make you a more resilient person. xx
