So angry and completely devastated right now!!! We just now, got settled into our house and I am trying to support and care for my husband who is desperately fighting for his life and losing to cancer. Meanwhile trying to hold it all together emotionally... I was Sucker punched right in the gut today as my cardiologist told me the results of my carotid doppler. Seems as though my right carotid artery in my neck is 99% blocked!!! I was just going in for my annual check up... Now I have to go in for an angiogram on Wednesday and its almost certain I will have surgery... Ugh...REALLY? God, can you give us just a little break???
