So another Marvel studios movie down, we just finished watching the Avengers. The plot was all over the place and lacking a lot, but the characters were very strong. That strength masks some of the problems, and made several good scenes in an overall mediocre movie. The special effects were magnificent though. It was a popcorn flick, and it succeeded at that. Overall better than Iron Man 2 or Thor, but not as good as the rest. And Mark Ruffalo was not a good choice for Hulk. I enjoyed Ed Norton much more.
