So apparently LinkedIn sent me an offer letter (with no prior phone call AT ALL), saying that I was one among the 18 candidates selected to have a face to face interview in Delhi...Not even a minute into my offer letter hah, did I confirm that this is A SCAM.. Dont let this happen to you or your friends. Lets be honest...there are many gullible people out there. a) Verify the email ID of the sender. Did they even address you a first name basis? or just said Hi...If they really wanted you, theyd have set up a Skype meeting first. b) Do a thorough background check of the person who sent you the email. Google em out. c) Look for shady clauses :D d) Laugh. Gotta give these thieves an A for effort though, not just for posing as a corporation, but being a little more innovative than those Nigerian spam messages that claim to have millions waiting for you.
