So apparently some of my voice made it to the Wall Street Journal - TopicsExpress

So apparently some of my voice made it to the Wall Street Journal from the rally yesterday with my sistren Kaili Turner. It wasnt everything I said but its part of my frustration for sure and nice to know I was heard! I said a lot more at that rally and I will be there next thursday to continue the conversation and get to doing something about it. Artist I reeeaaallly hope to see you in attendance next week because I am already coming up with ways to make an artistic impact and I hope to collaborate with so many more of New Yorks artistic doers because art in collaboration is what I do best. What do you do best? If you know what that is please bring that as well. It all starts somewhere. Not so long ago my ancestors were slaves in this country. We had no rights. We werent allowed to vote or even use the same bathroom as the rest of the damn country. With educated minds and a fight that built a revolution we eventually got ourselves out of it. We still have a long way to go but it starts somewhere. Angela Davis said this is a life long fight. United our voices can be heard. Look at the books, its been proven. Arent you tired of another brother and sister murder in cold blood or abducted without a thorough investigation for fear and lack of concern due to a skin color?! I am. You can talk all day or you can get fed up and do something. #rantcomplete
