So as I was driving the hyway doing out of town estimates I noticed a few properties with old log houses/cabins falling or leaning,,, I came up with the idea to approach a few of these and offer to buy them, dismantle them and haul the logs to a property we want to build on,,,, if it works out I would pour footings and use them for the perimeter of a cabin as Melissa would like me to start in the next year,,, now I know this would be a tonne of work but after pricing logs for this project I would save tens of thousands in material... after all can you imagine the feeling of this size accomplishment if one were to pull it off,,, I may be a dreamer but isnt that what makes life grand making a dream happen!!!!
