So as Nov comes to an end I wanted to share a little “you never know” story. Last night after riding around looking for a place to eat that had live music for Mason (he loves his live music) we finally found a place and went in sat at a table up front by the dance floor (thanks to our friend Barry). Not long after the band started Mason got up and danced as he always does :) He danced and danced and I danced some with him. We ate dinner and really were enjoying ourselves. Time came to pay our bill and we were about to leave and the waitress came over and gave Ken $50 and said someone wants to pay your bill (which we had already paid) he, of course, right away said “no I can’t take that” she said they insisted! He looked at me almost with tears as if he didn’t know what to do. Turns out the man had a brother that had Down Syndrome that had died years ago :( . He was enjoying watching Mason out there dancing and wanted to do this for us. WOW! Sniff sniff…. So once again I am reminded of just how special my boy really IS and how thankful we are to have him. “You never know” who’s life he is touching at any given minute. I am one lucky mommy…
