However, after reading, I can see why its needed. If I was dying for example and some priest tried to console me with bible talk it would NOT be comforting, or if someone wanted to inform my family of my death, that would also NOT be ok with me. So its a weird thought and I can understand the initial pause(hell I had one) but for service men and women they should at least have the same services as their fellow soldiers.
