So, as is always the case with me on my birthday...I pick something that I own of great value and give it away to celebrate the extreme good fortune I have been lucky enough to experience (and live through). I am very happy to announce that during my trip to London in September, I will be awarding a (pre-Meade) original Doublestacked 90mm Coronado Hydrogen Alpha telescope with Isle of Man etalons, Feathertouch focuser upgrade, a BF30 and BF15 blocking filter to one of my favorite astronomy groups in the world-Astronomy For Fun-through their member Mark Townley. This is one of a very small number of these scopes still in existence and retailed for over $14,000(US) originally.
